About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Home Support Worker to join our team in Scotland, UK. As a Care Home Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable adults in various settings, including Mental Health, Substance Misuse, Autism, Elderly Mental Health, and services for individuals with Physical and/or Learning Disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Demonstrate emotional resilience when supporting individuals facing challenging behaviors or loneliness, providing a safe and supportive environment.
  • Work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 care and support.
  • Administer medication, change dressings, and assist with basic meal preparation, maintaining a high standard of care.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with adults in a care setting, with a strong understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Registration under the PVG scheme, ensuring a safe and secure environment for service users.
  • A full driving license, enabling you to travel to various locations and provide support.
  • SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, demonstrating your commitment to delivering high-quality care.
