We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team at Randstad Care. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to adults with complex needs, enabling them to live their lives as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to adults with complex needs, including those with autism, dementia, and learning disabilities.
  • Establish and maintain good daily routines, including personal care and seizure management.
  • Work effectively with the manager, team, and family members to ensure seamless support.
  • Display emotional resilience and empathy when supporting service users with life-limiting conditions.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with adults with complex needs.
  • Experience in, or willingness to undertake training in PEG feeding, epilepsy, and moving and handling.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Registration under the PVG scheme.
  • Full driving license.
  • SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (desirable).
