About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Sales and Technical Consultant to join our team at the Harry James Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue in the energy storage market.

With a strong background in electrical engineering and power systems, you will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of energy storage technologies and their applications in the utility generation project development process. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing RFP response processes, including determining bidding strategy and partner selection
  • Leading proposal creation for energy storage projects, ensuring that proposals are well-structured, clear, and concise
  • Developing strong relationships with regional EPCs, developers, or IPPs to identify new business opportunities
  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify and engage with key customers/accounts within the area
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in the energy storage and renewable energy markets, projects, and products
  • Strong knowledge of utility generation project development processes, industrial control methods, and SCADA systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to create grammatically correct and properly structured English proposal documents
