Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team at Supply Desk Limited in Brighton, East Sussex. This exciting opportunity involves providing high-quality education and enhancing outcomes for children with special educational needs in Key Stage 1 and 2.
About the Role
The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of various SEN types, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, and ADD. They will be responsible for assessing and identifying individual student strengths and weaknesses, adapting teaching methods accordingly. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored educational plans for students with SEN.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure seamless support for students.
