Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the East Cheshire NHS Trust as a Financial Planning and Reporting Specialist. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning and reporting, as well as contracting and commissioning.

About the Role

The post-holder will be responsible for leading the financial planning and reporting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to support the Trust's financial duties. This will involve supervising the workload of the income team to ensure trust deadlines are met.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the contracting regime and commissioner contract payment process, as well as excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications and NHS information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and timely financial information to support delivery of the Trust's financial duties.
  • Responsible for reporting the production of monthly financial information that supports both internal and external monitoring.
  • Supervising the workload of the other members of the income team to ensure trust deadlines are met.
