About the Role: We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as on-call firefighters. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to make a difference in their community while working part-time hours.

Job Summary: As an on-call firefighter, you will be responsible for responding to emergencies and engaging with your local community. You will work closely with experienced firefighters and receive comprehensive training to equip you for this challenging role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency calls and engage with the community
  • Work alongside experienced firefighters to tackle complex situations
  • Participate in regular training sessions to develop your skills and knowledge

What We Offer: As an on-call firefighter, you can expect a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a Standard DBS Check and opportunities for professional development.

Requirements:

  • You must be able to reach the fire station quickly and safely after being alerted to an incident
  • You must work and/or live within 5 minutes of the Fire Station
  • You must be willing to undergo a Standard DBS Check
