Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Welfare and Engagement Specialist to join our team at Triumph Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our Wellbeing Team, you will play a vital role in delivering critical incident debriefings, resolving welfare issues, and gathering intelligence on wellbeing and wellbeing issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to a designated area of the workforce by being a local contact for delivering critical incident debriefings, resolving welfare issues, and gathering intelligence on wellbeing and wellbeing issues.
  • Support delivery of the Force Wellbeing Strategy and promotions, working alongside the wider HR team to deliver engagement plans.
  • Deliver Mental Health First Aid Training and maintain visibility on wellbeing issues in their area, gathering intelligence and providing feedback on how welfare and wellbeing support is working.
  • Build partnerships and engage with managers in their local area to support delivery of the Wellbeing Strategy, including delivering promotional activity, training, or briefings as required.
  • Act as a point of contact for arranging local wellbeing and welfare events in liaison with the Force Wellbeing Lead.
  • Provide a 24/7 on-call service to respond to critical incidents as part of a rota.
  • Act as the lead for Engagement within the area, working with HR Business Partners to develop and deliver Engagement Action Plans.

Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified Critical Incident Debriefer and be willing to successfully complete the North Wales Police training.
  • Must have completed Mental Health First Aid training (or equivalent) and be willing to successfully complete the North Wales Police programme to become a trainer for Mental Health First Aid training.
  • Full driving licence and ability to travel within the Force area.
  • Understanding of mental health and wellbeing issues and the factors that contribute to these.
  • Experience of providing welfare and wellbeing support within a Blue Light/Armed Forces environment.
  • Good IT skills, including evidence of use of Microsoft Office programs.
