Salary: The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for utilising their knowledge and experience to undertake various activities, including systems integration, system architecting, requirements definition and management, verification and validation, and qualification design. In support of the design, build, acceptance and through life support of submarines, they will need to ensure compliance against contractual requirements and work is undertaken in accordance with company, safety, environmental, contractual and local business processes, standards, procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of design solutions to agreed time, cost and quality in accordance with project or business milestones
  • Support the development and management of requirements specific to a system or product and/or across a system of systems, platform or programme
  • Ensure compliance against contractual requirements and that work is undertaken in accordance with company, safety, environmental, contractual and local business processes, standards, procedures and documentation
  • Understand the contractual and performance requirements for various systems, and support the definition and associated acceptance criteria and events through design, build, integration, installation and commissioning activities
  • Review relevant supplier documentation and ensure it is captured and recorded appropriately

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent technical skills and experience in systems engineering, as well as strong communication and problem-solving abilities. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science or physics is required, and a master's degree or higher would be advantageous.
