Job Title: Principal Maintenance Manager

Thalia Waste Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team at the Milton Keynes Waste Recovery Park.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure optimal plant performance and efficiency.
  • Manage and control maintenance budgets, including planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including confined space working procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to maintenance team members.
  • Collaborate with procurement colleagues to review and manage supply chain performance.
  • Develop and maintain a record of preventative maintenance routines to promote maximum uptime.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing maintenance teams and budgets.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Energy from Waste technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
