Support Team Lead: Child and Young People Service Manager

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in North Wales, who are seeking a highly experienced Child and Young People Service Manager to lead their Domestic Abuse Support Team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position based in Anglesey and Gwynedd, with a hybrid working arrangement that includes two to three days working from home, and a salary of over £31,000.

The ideal candidate will have extensive managerial experience and a background in managing services for children and young people who have been impacted by domestic abuse. To be successful in this role, you must have an Enhanced DBS completed within the last 12 months.

The key responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Managing a number of refuges across Anglesey and Gwynedd
  • Ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping across all services
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety by identifying and addressing any issues that arise
  • Referring matters to Service Managers where necessary
  • Acting on concerns related to Child Protection and the Protection of Vulnerable Adults
  • Staying up to date with current trends and developments in the domestic support and abuse sectors

Key requirements for the role include:

  • Proven experience in management
  • Experience working with customers who have been impacted by domestic abuse
  • Background in working with children and young adults

The working hours for this position are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We also welcome applications from candidates interested in temporary positions, so please do not hesitate to get in touch if this is something that would interest you.
