Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and patient-oriented pharmacist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Acute Medicine, you will be responsible for optimizing medicines prescribed on admission, making timely pharmaceutical interventions, and facilitating rapid discharge. You will work closely with the Pharmacy Lead - Emergency and Acute Medicine and Principal Pharmacist - Clinical Services to monitor and control drug use within Emergency and Acute Medicine.


Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services to our Emergency Department and Admissions wards.
  2. Lead on the strategic development of pharmacy clinical and ward-based services.
  3. Monitor and control drug use within Emergency and Acute Medicine.

Person Specification
  • GPhC registered.
  • Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy.
  • Management training.
