Premium Power is seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our grid analysis team, you will play a vital role in empowering our clients and project managers to make a significant impact from day one.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation in renewable energy integration and help shape the future of sustainable energy solutions. You will be responsible for conducting advanced power system studies and simulations to facilitate the integration of renewable energy sources and large consumer facilities into the grid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed power system analyses, including short circuit studies, harmonic analysis, transient simulations, and power quality assessments.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in power systems and grid analysis to drive innovation and improve processes.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on analysis results to enhance system reliability, performance, and safety.
- Facilitate the integration of renewable energy sources (e.g., solar, wind) into the electrical grid by conducting grid connection studies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
At Premium Power, we offer a competitive salary of $160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including flexible working hours, generous annual leave, pension scheme, health insurance, and professional membership fees covered.
