Role Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED), working closely with the regulator Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem) to secure the best regulatory package. You will be responsible for coordinating with teams across NGED and wider National Grid to identify value-generating opportunities within the regulatory regime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating with others to identify regulatory value-generating opportunities
  • Working on Cost Assessment, producing evidence and analysis to persuade Ofgem for optimal funding packages
  • Maintaining an understanding of utility sectors' regulatory milestones and outcomes
  • Benchmarking efficiency against other Distribution Network Operators (DNOs)
Requirements

You'll need a minimum 2:2 degree in Economics, Maths, or Business-related fields. A provisional or full valid UK driving license is also required due to site location travel. Flexibility to travel and rotate roles is essential.

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a graduate starting salary of £34,895, with additional benefits including a £2,000 bonus upon joining, 26 days holiday, and up to £200 per month accommodation allowance during rotations.
