We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Energy Solutions Commercial team at OVO Energy. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the delivery of Government initiatives such as the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme.
Your primary responsibilities will include leading programme delivery, client communication, and regular contractor engagement. You will provide task management support, technical guidance, and share industry knowledge with the wider Commercial team.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will develop and support relationships with main suppliers/contractors, improve business cash flow, and identify supply chain cost reduction opportunities. You will also conduct sourcing events and procure at the lowest cost of ownership, covering all commercial, business, and legal project risks in contracts.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Energy Efficiency or Construction markets and its current events. You will have recent experience in a similar role, previous team or line management responsibilities, and the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
The estimated salary for this role is £62,500 - £72,500 per annum, depending on your specific skills and experience. You will be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15% and plenty of green benefits and progressive policies to help you feel like you belong at OVO Energy.
