Job Description

MyWork is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our team as a Frontend HTML5 Game Developer. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions and leading the development of our innovative bespoke applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality, performant, and defect-free games for our platform, collaborating with the creative department to ensure optimal results.
  • Work closely with designers and other developers to ensure games are operable on all platforms, mobile and desktop.
  • Take ownership of game development, from concept to delivery, and lead the development of new features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize technical requirements, and develop solutions to meet business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our game development processes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with HTML5 and TypeScript in a mobile and desktop environment.
  • Experience with PixiJS, Phaser, or other JavaScript gaming/animation frameworks.
  • Proficient knowledge of animation techniques using WebGL or Canvas 2D APIs.
  • Solid experience working with GIT.
  • Nice to have skills: knowledge of CSS, Post CSS, and SASS/SCSS, CSS frameworks (TailwindCSS, Bootstrap), and responsive design techniques.
  • Ideal background: maths, statistics, or physics educational background, or 3D development experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of platform-specific and cross-platform capabilities and constraints.
  • Experience with JavaScript build tools (Gulp, Vite, Rollup).
  • Great communication skills as a core member of an internationally based team.
