We are actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Frontend HTML5 Game Developer to join our team at OpenSourced, based in a remote-first work arrangement. As our representative, you will take on the responsibility of implementing and optimising high-quality, maintainable code within a framework, all with the goal of delivering an exceptional user experience.

This position offers a flexible work arrangement, requiring occasional onsite presence. As a valuable member of our game development team, you will collaborate closely with the creative department to ensure the flawless delivery of online games. Your role involves working alongside designers and developers to guarantee top-notch game performance across all platforms, including mobile and desktop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, maintainable code using HTML5 and TypeScript in both mobile and desktop environments.
  • Implement animation techniques using WebGL or Canvas 2D APIs.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of CSS, PostCSS, and SASS/SCSS.
  • Familiarity with CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap) and responsive design techniques.
  • Background in mathematics, statistics, physics, or 3D development.
  • Experience with logging and analysis tools for quick error diagnosis (Elasticsearch, Rollbar, Sentry).
