The Company:
Fitzgerald HR is a well-established, highly-accredited family business that distributes frozen, chilled, and ambient goods, alongside bespoke cut fresh butchery and fish products.
We have regional logistics capacity in the South West, Oxfordshire, Midlands, and two production plants in North Devon for butchery and fish.
We have experience and success working alongside various food and hospitality sectors, including pubs, hotels, restaurants, cafes, contract caterers, education, healthcare, garden centres, business sites, and leisure clubs.
The Role:
We are seeking a self-motivated, customer-focused, and proactive Account Manager who has a passion for food and an understanding of good customer relations. You will manage an existing customer base to grow sales for the company and develop new business in your designated territory.
Based at our South West Depot, the successful candidate will be expected to maximize sales potential, manage profitability and sales growth, and build solid customer relationships.
The Person:
To make this role a success, you will need:
- A genuine passion for food
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Evidence of consistently exceeding targets
- Proven ability to multitask in a position of responsibility
- Experience within a demanding customer service environment
- Self-motivation with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- A full UK driving license
