Children's Rights and Sport Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Rights and Sport Specialist to join our dynamic team at the UK Committee for UNICEF. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading and implementing various parts of our children's rights and sport initiatives.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact and be a part of something truly special. You will be responsible for advocating for children's rights within the sports sector, focusing on Scotland, esports, and Mega Sporting Events. You will also contribute to global projects related to children's rights and sport, serving as a spokesperson for UNICEF UK externally.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and implement various parts of our children's rights and sport initiatives
- Advocate for children's rights within the sports sector, focusing on Scotland, esports, and Mega Sporting Events
- Contribute to global projects related to children's rights and sport, serving as a spokesperson for UNICEF UK externally
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the sports sector
- Provide technical expertise and support to colleagues and partners
To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in children's rights within the sports industry or a related field. A solid grasp of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights is also crucial. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to work independently.
