About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Rights and Sport Specialist to join our team at the UK Committee for UNICEF. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading and implementing various parts of our children's rights and sport initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocate for children's rights within the sports sector, focusing on Scotland, esports, and Mega Sporting Events.
  • Contribute to global projects related to children's rights and sport, serving as a spokesperson for UNICEF UK externally.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote children's rights in the sports industry.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to influence key decisions and policies that impact children's rights in sport.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in children's rights within the sports industry or a related field.
  • Solid grasp of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
