The Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Admission Pathway Coordinator to support the elective surgical admissions process. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Day Surgery Unit.
Main Responsibilities
- Confirm patient attendance and pre-assessment advice for elective surgery
- Escalate concerns to relevant specialties to manage surgical admissions
- Work closely with the Day Surgery Unit team to reduce cancellations on the day of surgery
Working with Our Team
As a Patient Admission Pathway Coordinator, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with our experienced staff to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support throughout their surgical journey.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Trust IT systems, including Careflow, iFit, and Bluespier
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
