About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As an Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with ASC, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students with ASC receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive relationships and behaviors.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure that students receive the support they need.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with ASC or a related condition.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Knowledge of ASC and its impact on learning and behavior.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
