About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As an Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a West Yorkshire school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with ASC, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students with ASC receive the support they need to succeed.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in ASC support and education.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with ASC or similar learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
