Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team at Hovis Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting our leadership teams and providing guidance on employee relations, engagement, and learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to align and execute our People plan, championing change and the development of our teams.
  • Manage employee relations cases, coaching and guiding managers to ensure fair and effective resolution in line with company policy.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of HR practices and processes, ensuring the overall effectiveness and innovation of the HR function.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to employee engagement and staff development.
