HR Generalist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team at Hovis Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting our leadership teams and providing guidance on employee relations, engagement, and learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and guidance to management on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall well-being.
• Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
• Collaborate with the HR Manager to align and execute our People plan, championing change and the development of our teams.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of HR practices and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• CIPD qualifications or equivalent experience.
