Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at SIG Roofing Gloucester. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring the smooth operation of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities to drive sales growth
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure the branch runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Take full responsibility for the branch in the manager's absence
  • Operate a Zero Harm Health and Safety policy and ensure compliance with company procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with customers
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Contribute to the development of the branch's sales and marketing strategy

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales or operations role, preferably in the trade or construction industry
  • Knowledge of products and services available from SIG
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a strong telephone manner
  • Methodical approach and attention to detail, with IT literacy
  • Self-motivation and ability to adapt to change
