**Job Summary**

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at SIG Roofing Gloucester. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the branch and driving sales growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities through proactive internal and external sales calls

• Work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve sales targets and branch profitability

• Take full responsibility for the branch in the manager's absence, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations

• Operate a Zero Harm Health and Safety policy, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and customers

• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

• Collaborate with the sales team to maximize sales opportunities and achieve sales targets

• Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to the Branch Manager and other stakeholders

**Requirements**

• Proven experience in a sales and operations role, preferably in the trade or construction industry

• Strong knowledge of products and services available from SIG

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• A methodical approach and an eye for detail, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to learn and develop

• IT literacy and proficiency in using sales and operational software
