Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Specialist to join our team at Anglian Home Improvements. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in financial services, regulatory compliance, and complaint resolution.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex complaints and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complaint Handling: Manage and resolve customer complaints related to financial products and services, ensuring a fair and timely outcome.
  • Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations by gathering and analysing relevant data, liaising with internal teams, and reviewing transaction records. Preparing customer responses and formal representations where required.
  • Customer Communication: Provide clear, concise explanations to customers about the resolution process and outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all complaint handling processes comply with industry regulations, requisite legislation and company policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of complaints and resolutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyse complaint trends and provide feedback to improve products, services, and internal processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience or skills in a complaints handling role within the financial services industry.
  • Qualifications: 2.1 or 2.2 degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial products, debt recovery, case management services, and relevant regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously document complaints and actions taken.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with various departments to resolve issues effectively.
