Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered General Nurse in the Acute Medical Unit. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, as well as administering medications and treatments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department
  • Working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate and complete patient records
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families

Requirements

  • First Level Registered Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a newly qualified nurse
  • Understanding of equality and diversity and how to apply it to self
  • Understanding of NMC Code and requirements of it for own practice and behaviour
