Job Summary:

The Property Manager is a key role within Hillcrest Estate Management, responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of developments in the Bristol area. This position requires a high level of expertise in residential property management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our managed developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of development management, including communication with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company responsibilities and industry legislation.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep customers informed about management activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including responding to queries, resolving complaints, and attending meetings as required.
  • Work with customer-formed groups, such as Residents' Associations and Right to Manage companies.
  • Liaise with the Accounts department to ensure accurate financial management of developments.
  • Source, appoint, and manage competent trade persons to undertake works across the portfolio.
  • Ensure all works undertaken by contractors meet suitable quality and cost-effectiveness standards.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and industry legislation.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in residential property management.
  • Desirable: AIRPM/ATPI qualification.
  • Proven track record in customer service, with excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with individuals at all levels.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft packages.
  • Previous experience of contract management.
  • Client-focused, organized, self-motivated, with ability to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, with ability to keep perspective and make informed decisions.
