About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for Neuro to join our multidisciplinary community neuro-rehabilitation team at Central London Community Health Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide highly specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment as an active member of the community neuro-rehabilitation team.
  • To participate in the delivery and evaluation of Early Supported Discharge for Stroke service and Community Neurorehabilitation pathways.
  • To educate and supervise junior physiotherapy staff, including rotational staff, rehabilitation assistants, and physiotherapy students.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level with postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical area.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) relevant to the treatment of people with neurological conditions.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Member of a specialist interest group, such as ACPIN or AGILE.
  • Postgraduate experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in teaching and training.
Key Skills and Knowledge
  • Advanced skills in assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for people with complex neurological conditions.
  • Ability to apply core physiotherapy skills across a range of clinical conditions.
  • Knowledge of relevant National and Local guidelines and frameworks.
  • Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and demonstrate advanced clinical reasoning.
