We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Band 4 Therapy Technician to join our team at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our inpatient therapy team, you will play a vital role in supporting Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the assessment and treatment of complex patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of therapy services by supporting Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in the assessment and treatment of highly complex patients.
- Independently treat patients post-operatively on the short-stay ward and support our patient pathways.
- Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions to patients referred by therapists and progress these treatments as part of your own patient caseload.
- Monitor and order specialist equipment and materials required by the inpatient therapy teams.

Requirements- Previous experience of working with people with an injury or disability.
- Understanding of the role of an Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist.
- Physical fitness to move and handle patients and equipment.
