Responsibilities
The duties of this role include:
- Preparation of legal documents using DivorceMate software
- Conducting research on family law cases, statutes, and regulations in Ontario
- Managing case files, preparing documents, and meeting deadlines
- Presentation of evidence and arguments for clients
- Providing support and guidance to clients throughout legal matters
- Meeting with clients to prepare, review, and sign documents
- Assisting with daily operations and file management tasks for lawyers
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Post-secondary education in Law Clerk studies or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a clerk, with family law expertise
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and Legal Practice Management Software (Clio preferred)
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule
Benefits and Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $72,500 per year, with the possibility of reaching up to $82,500 based on experience.
- $70,000 - $80,000 salary
