As a Senior Lift Engineering Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides expert advice and services to clients in the lift and escalator industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop lift systems and solutions for clients
  • Review and comment on contractor's proposals and drawings
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including new lift and escalator installation projects
  • Provide expert advice on lift maintenance and compliance
  • Conduct health and safety site audits and lift maintenance audits
  • Develop and implement traffic analysis and calculations
  • Specify and procure lift equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot lift-related issues and conduct LOLER examinations

Requirements

  • Hold a NVQ3 or NVQ4 Lift Engineering qualification
  • Have a good technical background on various lift manufacturers' equipment
  • Have previous experience in lift engineering consultancy or senior project management
  • Be experienced in creating specifications and have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Have analytical capability with strong attention to detail and be able to make decisions and be motivated
  • Be comfortable with autonomy and have an appetite to drive innovation
  • Be a team player
