Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lift Engineer to join our team, providing consultancy services in South London and Manchester. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and review of lift systems and equipment
  • Review and comment on contractor's proposals and drawings
  • Review and comment on Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Attend pre-start meetings and manage projects
  • Account management and lift contract management
  • Accident investigation and witness testing
  • Health and safety site audits and lift maintenance audits
  • Traffic analysis and calculations
  • Specification and procurement exercises
  • Regular reporting and trouble shooting

Requirements

  • NVQ3 or NVQ4 Lift Engineering qualification
  • Previous experience in lift engineering consultancy or project management
  • Good technical background on various manufacturers' equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical experience with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to make decisions and work autonomously
  • Comfortable with autonomy and an appetite to drive innovation
  • Team player with a positive attitude
