About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Actuarial Analyst to join our team at GBS - Global. As a key member of our actuarial consulting team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on all aspects of pension schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present actuarial valuations and cost estimates to clients
  • Undertake and supervise accounting disclosures, including FRS17, IAS19, and USGAAP
  • Coordinate data collection, editing, and testing of data received from clients
  • Undertake and check all aspects of actuarial work associated with pension schemes
  • Prepare letters, reports, and other client materials
  • Check day-to-day individual calculations as requested
  • Participate in internal projects and handle special projects or assignments as needed
  • Assist scheme consultants with consultancy aspects of pension schemes, including attending client/trustee meetings as required
  • Provide leadership, feedback, and training to actuarial analysts
Requirements
  • Good numerical/mathematics-based degree
  • Good progress through the actuarial exams, generally to have completed CT exams and CA1
  • Substantial experience within the pensions actuarial environment
