About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our team at GBS - Global. As a key member of our actuarial consulting team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on all aspects of pension schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present actuarial valuations and cost estimates to clients and stakeholders
  • Undertake and supervise accounting disclosures, including FRS17, IAS19, and USGAAP
  • Coordinate data collection, editing, and testing for actuarial work associated with pension schemes
  • Prepare and review actuarial reports, letters, and other client materials
  • Check and verify individual calculations and data for accuracy
  • Participate in internal projects and special assignments as needed
  • Assist scheme consultants with consultancy aspects of pension schemes, including attending client/trustee meetings
  • Provide leadership, feedback, and training to actuarial analysts
Requirements
  • Good numerical/mathematics based degree
  • Good progress through the actuarial exams, with completion of CT exams and CA1
  • Substantial experience within the pensions actuarial environment
