Randstad is collaborating with top schools in West Sussex and Surrey to find enthusiastic individuals eager to develop both their own skills and their students' abilities. As a school support assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of children aged 4-11.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children and a passion for supporting children's development. In return, we offer access to a wide range of e-learning courses, a £300 Love2Shop voucher referral bonus, and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with groups of children
- Provide regular updates on student progress
- Support children's personal needs, including minor first aid
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children
- Passion for supporting children's development
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, Grade C or higher (£28,000 - £35,000 per year)
- Enhanced DBS (we can assist with this)
- Classroom management skills
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per year.
