About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at St Mungo's. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them to rebuild their lives and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to clients, helping them to set and achieve personal goals and ambitions.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure that clients receive a holistic and person-centred approach to support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and organisations to ensure that clients have access to the support they need.
  • Contribute to the development of individualised support plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each client.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to ensure that your skills and knowledge are up-to-date and relevant to the role.
About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals and has a strong understanding of the issues surrounding homelessness. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.

You will also have a sound understanding of the importance of a person-centred approach and be able to work in a way that is respectful and empowering of clients. Experience of working in a similar role or with a similar client group would be an advantage.
