Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Leonardo SpA. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities for improvement to reduce program and project risks.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of non-conformances and failures, ensuring root cause identification and effective corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Assurance Team to meet program and IPT objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of improvement plans across all phases of the program, product, and project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in applying quality tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification, and First Article Inspection.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in working with complex data and developing practical solutions that support business goals.
