Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Quality Assurance Engineer to join our ECRS MK2 Radar Quality Assurance Team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the success and completion of all allocated projects, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain Project Assurance Plans (PAP) defining project assurance activities aligned to Risk, Opportunity, and Improvement within the Programme.
  2. Contribute to the Assurance function's improvement plans across all phases of the Programme, Product, and Project Lifecycle.
  3. Provide reports and supporting data to the Project Assurance Manager, Quality Manager, and Project Managers as required.
  4. Support and mentor more junior members of the Assurance Team to grow quality excellence within both the Quality Assurance Team and the Project IPT.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or experience in Defence, Electronics, or similarly complex industries.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge in applying Quality Tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification, Validation, and First Article Inspection.
  3. Logical thinking and ability to harvest complex data into actions with practical solutions that support business goals.
  4. Experience working within high-functioning quality teams.
