Speech and Language Therapist Vacancy

We are seeking an accomplished Speech & Language Therapist to join our talented team at our mental health clinic in Leicestershire. As part of our organization, you will be working closely with a prominent healthcare provider.

This mental health service provides innovative neurobehavioral rehabilitation solutions for individuals dealing with acquired brain injuries (ABI), including traumatic brain injury (TBI) and stroke, or progressive neurological conditions (PNC).

Main Job Duties
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans for speech and language therapy services, ensuring treatments, activities, and interventions are delivered effectively.
  • Attend to referrals swiftly, conducting thorough assessments to determine patient needs and devise targeted interventions on an individual or group basis. Maintain detailed records illustrating each patient's rehabilitation/progress.
  • Promote strong working relationships within the multidisciplinary team, guaranteeing that clinical practices comply with policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards.
  • Support business development by actively promoting therapy services in line with the local unit's strategic goals.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with patients, family members, caregivers, and stakeholders throughout the patient's recovery process.

The selected candidate will enjoy a competitive annual salary of £55,000, adjusted according to their work schedule. This long-term position involves working 30 hours per week.
