At Jane Lewis Healthcare, we are seeking an experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Bamber Bridge, Preston, Lancashire. Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide high-quality support to individuals with mental health needs, promoting their independence and quality of life. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily support, including personal care, meal preparation, and encouraging social engagement and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs, focusing on their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and supporting social activities.
- Engage and encourage individuals to participate in community activities, building their confidence and social skills.
- Maintain accurate records of individuals' progress, collaborating with the wider support team.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in mental health support is essential.
- Restraint training certification is required.
- Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and occasional sleep-in shifts.
- A valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
