About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Services Advisor to join our dynamic People Team at Hydrock. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing first-line advice, guidance, coaching, and support to employees and line managers across various aspects of People Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including policy interpretation, procedure implementation, and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, line managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and provide recommendations on employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with the People Support Lead to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing employment laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to the business.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge on HR-related topics.
  • Contribute to the development of HR-related projects, initiatives, and processes to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a HR/People function, with a strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees and line managers.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data to inform HR decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
