Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Mundipharma. As a Senior Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Health, Safety and Environment in ensuring the health and safety of employees, contractors, and members of the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head of Health, Safety and Environment in developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards.
  • Develop and maintain safety data sheets and contractor management systems.
  • Participate in process hazard analysis and lead or participate in the process hazard analysis programme.
  • Review and audit health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Provide support to departments and project teams in matters relating to health and safety and the environment.
  • Work with the business to identify external audits in areas of high risk.
  • Monitor, evaluate and review Health and Safety policy, plans and practice, make recommendations and implement new policies and procedures as required.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma (equivalent) or working towards Chartered Member of Institute of Occupational Health and Safety, or working towards.
  • Proven understanding of onsite work in Pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, food, research, or any relevant industry.
  • Role model for our guiding principles of high performance, patient-centricity, global first mindset, working with pace and agility and integrity; able to demonstrate prior performance that aligns with these principles.
  • Highly collaborative with team members, manager and business/functional partners to ensure shared information, alignment, and proactive awareness of risks or issues.
