About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Weekend Home Care Assistant. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with their daily needs, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, ensuring clients receive nutritious food
  • Assist with light housework, laundry, and ironing, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
Requirements
  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a commitment to providing high-quality care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
