Job Title: Specialist Interventionist

We are looking for a skilled Specialist Interventionist to join our team at Philosophy Education.

The successful candidate will provide individualized support to students with Multiple Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism, and behavioral needs in a Post-16 college setting.

This is a temporary to permanent contract available on a full-time basis, with an estimated salary of £74,000 - £101,600 per annum, based on a daily rate of £140-£190.

About the Opportunity:
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Utilize Makaton support to enhance student communication and engagement.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A comprehensive training program will be provided by the Local Authority prior to commencing the position.
