Job Title: Finance Analyst

Join Parkdean Resorts as a Finance Analyst and contribute to the success of our dynamic team within the Treasury division of our Shared Services Department.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to provide analytical expertise and meticulous attention to detail to streamline processes and provide valuable insights for optimising workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with key stakeholders to understand complex, high-volume Treasury processes and associated accounting treatment and reporting requirements.
  • Provide weekly insight and analysis on Treasury activity to drive focused activity to ensure all transactions are being investigated and resolved.
  • Monitor service level agreements, including KPI reporting to monitor service delivery against these agreements.
  • Streamline KPI reporting, ensuring key data is provided to the correct stakeholders.
  • Improve month-end analysis and reporting, determining the best approach for presenting accounts as a whole.
  • Coordinate communication of various cash variances from multiple income streams.
  • Work with operational stakeholders to ensure all data flows are accurate and provide recommendations where issues occur or for process improvements.
  • Support improvements in business IT and finance systems, particularly in relation to efficiency and ease of use for operators and eliminating manual processes and eliminating the risk of material error.
  • Ensure weekly and monthly reporting is provided to the business in an accurate manner to the deadlines set.
  • Perform periodic ad-hoc reporting for management teams and other internal customers.
Requirements
  • Part-Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience.
  • Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of high-volume transactional process management.
  • Advanced Excel and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to high quality and excellent customer service.
  • Experience in process improvements – timeliness, accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong planning, time management and organisational skills.
  • Flexible and the ability to work in pressurised situations and deliver a quality product to agreed timescales.
