Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Administration: Prepare and administer weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current payroll legislation.
- Payslip Distribution: Distribute online payslips and documents to employees, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations.
- Tax and National Insurance: Administer PAYE, National Insurance deductions based on individual personal allowances, and mandatory deductions of Student Loans, SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP, Court Orders, and other legislative requirements.
- HMRC Compliance: Liaise with HM Revenue & Customs regarding all PAYE responsibilities, ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation and submitting statutory forms such as P45s, SSP1, and SMP1.
- Pension Administration: Administer pension schemes and pension auto-enrolment, incentive schemes, bonuses, and ex-gratia and termination payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Reporting and Compliance: Submit Annual reporting and tasks, including final Full Payment Summary (FPS), production of employees' P60 forms, and earlier year update, as well as Employer Payment Summary (EPS) to reclaim statutory payments and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) suffered, pay apprenticeship levy, and claim employer's allowance.
- Pension Deductions and Correspondence: Ensure accurate pension deductions, maintain pension portal, and handle employee pension correspondence.
- RTI Submissions: Ensure all RTI submissions are sent in accordance with HMRC regulations, maintaining accurate and timely reporting.
