Job Title: Learner Support Officer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our Community Education and Training team as a Learner Support Officer. The successful candidate will work closely with learners to provide wrap-around support, addressing a range of personal and educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support learners with additional needs, including welfare, personal, and family support, and wider mental health and wellbeing needs.
  • Work with the Adult Safeguarding Lead to support safeguarding cases, maintaining records, and making referrals as needed.
  • Contribute to the organisation of our termly learners' forum to celebrate achievement and attend community events to promote our work.

Requirements

  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals or groups.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and excellent administration skills.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for being part of a busy team.
  • Ability to provide an excellent service to High Trees' users.
