Are you a skilled Class 1 driver looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a professional driver to join our team at a national logistics provider.

The role involves driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to make 3-5 trunk runs a day, with a focus on curtain sider work and making on-time deliveries.

As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for communicating with the transport team, following company policies and procedures, and complying with driving rules and regulations.

We are looking for a driver with a valid UK Category CE licence, UK CPC, and UK Digital Tachograph Card, with a minimum of 2 years experience driving CE vehicles.

Day-to-day duties include:

  • Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Curtain sider work
  • Make on-time deliveries
  • Communicate with the transport team
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Comply with driving rules and regulations

Essential skills include:

  • Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
  • Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience driving CE vehicles
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor infringements with no major endorsement codes

Desirable experience includes experience in strapping abnormal loads and navigating tight delivery depots.
